Echo Frames and Smart Glasses with Alexa Aren't Pairing with Your Phone

If your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) and Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation) can't pair with your phone, try these solutions.

  • Select Forget Device for your smart glasses from Device Settings in the Alexa app.
  • Forget your smart glasses in your phone's Bluetooth menu.
  • Check that your smart glasses aren’t listed in your phone’s Bluetooth menu.
  • Update the Alexa app to the latest version.
  • For Echo Frames (2nd Generation), hold down the action button for ten seconds or until you see the blinking red and blue status light.
  • For Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation), press and hold the front and back action buttons for three seconds. The light blinks orange to show you're in pairing mode.
  • Relaunch the Alexa app.
  • To set up your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) or Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation), follow the steps described in the Alexa app.
  • To pair your device to the Alexa app again, open the Alexa app and follow the on-screen prompts.
If these steps don't work, try resetting your device.
