Put Echo Frames (2nd Generation) Into Pairing Mode

After pairing Echo Frames (2nd Generation) for the first time, use the action button to put your device back into Bluetooth pairing mode. Echo Frames (2nd Generation) can be paired with up to eight devices.

To pair your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) with a new device:

  1. Ensure that your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) are turned off. To turn off your Echo Frames (2nd Generation), press and hold the action button until the status light flashes red.

    Note: The action button is the shorter button on the right arm of the frames.

  2. Put your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) into pairing mode. Press and hold the action button until the status light turns blue, then flashes red and blue. Then release the button.

Your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) will exit pairing mode when you connect to a device via Bluetooth. To exit pairing mode, go to your device's Bluetooth settings and reconnect your Echo Frames (2nd Generation).

Tip: To swap between paired Bluetooth devices, select Echo Frames (2nd Generation) in the device's Bluetooth settings. Alexa functionality is only available when connected to the Alexa app.
