How Does the Amazon Music Unlimited Family Plan Work?

This plan allows up to six members of your family to receive the benefits of Amazon Music Unlimited with either a monthly or annual subscription. Up to six people can listen at the same time.

Account Holders

  • You can invite or remove family members from your plan, and manage the payment method for the subscription.
  • You can create multiple profiles under a single account, or invite a family member to join their Family plan using their own account.
  • You can invite family members to sign in with their own account. Share the invitation link through email, or SMS/text messages.
    Note:
    • Family members must all reside in the same country, and can only join one Amazon Music Unlimited Family Plan at a time.
    • New legislation requires online services to provide enhanced protection for users under 18. When we receive an age signal indicating to us that a user is under the age of 19, we offer an age-appropriate Amazon Music experience using Kids Mode and Teens Mode (where users are identified as either children or teens under local regulations). For more information on Kids and Teen modes, go to: What are Kids and Teen Modes on the Amazon Music apps?
    • Parents with the Amazon Music Unlimited Family plan can give children (ages 6 to 12) access to Amazon Music on Fire Tablets.
      • On Fire Kids Tablets, you would use the Older Kid theme (ages 6 to 12).
      • Parents need to subscribe to the Amazon Music Unlimited Family Plan.
      • Children can create their own playlists, music libraries, follow their favorite artists, and share playlists via parent-approved apps.
  • You can listen to one audiobook each month with an active subscription.
