Fire TV Recast Not Showing on Fire TV
Fire TV is missing Fire TV Recast content in the channel guide, settings, or DVR.
Try these tips:
- Restart your Fire TV and your Fire TV Recast.
- Register your Fire TV and Fire TV Recast & Blaster app to the same Amazon account. To register your Fire TV to a different account:
- Go to Settings
from the Fire TV menu.
- Select Account & Profile Settings
.
- Select Amazon Account.
- Select Deregister.
Note: You can only have one Fire TV Recast registered to your Amazon account. - Go to Settings
- Connect your Amazon devices to the same network. Don't connect your Fire TV Recast to a guest network. For help with connecting Fire TV Recast to Wi-Fi, visit Update the Wi-Fi Settings for Your Fire TV Recast.
- Update the software for your Fire TV. For more information, visit Update the Software on Your Fire TV.
- Try unpairing and then pairing your Fire TV Recast and Fire TV device again. For help with pairing your devices, visit Pair Your Viewing Device with Fire TV Recast.
- Verify that the devices have an active network connection. The light on the Fire TV Recast is orange when it has no network connection. When Fire TV Recast is online, the light is a solid white or green. Use the Fire TV Recast & Blaster app to check your connection:
- Go to Settings
on your Fire TV Recast & Blaster app.
- Select Fire TV Recast.
- Select your device.
- Select Network. If the network status shows as offline, restart your devices.
- Go to Settings
- Restart your routers and other hardware.
- If your Wi-Fi signal is weak, move your Fire TV Recast closer to your router, or switch to an Ethernet connection.
