Reset Fire TV Recast to Factory Settings

Safely eject external hard drives before performing a factory reset.

Important: All account information and recorded shows are deleted during a factory reset.
  1. Go to Settings from the Fire TV menu.
  2. Select Live TV , and then select Sync Sources.
  3. Select Fire TV Recast, and then Reset to Factory Defaults.
