Linking Your Account to an Alexa Skill Doesn’t Work
Try these troubleshooting steps if you can't link your account or see an "Unable to link accounts" error in the Alexa app.
Try linking the skill on the Amazon website: Alexa Skills Store.
Note: If you’re using an Android 11 or lower device, account linking isn’t supported in the Alexa app. You can upgrade your Alexa app to Android 12+ to continue linking your account.
- Search for the skill that you want.
Note: Add the word "skill" at the end of the skill name.
- Select the skill from the search results.
- Select Enable or Link Account.
- Complete linking your accounts.
Check to see if you have the latest version of the Alexa app:
- If up to date, uninstall and reinstall the Alexa app.
