Amazon Astro Can't Find its Charger
Make sure that Astro has a clear path to its charger.
If Astro can't find its charging station:
- Check that the device is clean, so that navigation isn't impacted. Ensure the front panel is clean and free of dust or dirt. For detailed cleaning instructions, go to: Cleaning Your Amazon Astro Device.
- Ensure that nothing is blocking Astro's path.
- Make sure there are no objects on the floor, blocking Astro's path.
- The room the charger is in is accessible to Astro, with no closed doors.
- Check that the charger is correctly positioned, and hasn't moved from its mapped location.
- Check that the charger is on a flat surface, with at least one foot of space on each side and five feet of space in the front.
- Ensure that the charger is at least 15 feet away from any Ring Alarm Motion Detectors.
- If Astro is still isn't going to its charger, pick up and set Astro in front of the dock with the screen facing away. Gently roll Astro back onto the dock to charge. Once on the charger, Restart Amazon Astro.
