Cancel Your Alexa+ Subscription

Learn how to manage or cancel your Alexa+ subscription based on your plan.

Note: The free and limited Alexa+ experience on Alexa.com (Alexa+ on your browser) and in the Alexa app can't be deactivated.

Prime members who deactivate Alexa+ through alexaplus.com lose access immediately, or at the end of their Prime membership period if they cancel Prime. For more information on how to cancel your Prime Membership, go to Cancel Your Amazon Prime Membership.

If you’re an Alexa+ Standard subscribe, to cancel:

  1. Go to Your Memberships & Subscriptions.
  2. Locate your Alexa+ Standard subscription.
  3. Select Cancel My Subscription, and follow the on-screen steps.
Note: You have access to Alexa+ Standard benefits until the end of your billing cycle.

To review and manage your Alexa+ data, go to Alexa Privacy.

You can also use your voice and say, "End Alexa+." Household members can deactivate Alexa+ without affecting the primary account holder's subscription.

When your Alexa+ benefits end, your Alexa device goes back to the original Alexa with Follow Up Mode turned on.

To turn off Follow-Up Mode, just say "turn off Follow-Up Mode" or follow the instructions here: Turn Follow Up Mode On or Off.
