How Do I Complete Demand Response Pre-enrollment for Smart Thermostat?

If you purchased a pre-enrolled Amazon Smart Thermostat from your utility provider, complete pre-enrollment in the Alexa app.

During the setup of your Amazon Smart Thermostat, follow the guided instructions to Finish enrolling in energy savings incentives in the Alexa app.

If you choose to complete pre-enrollment after you set up your Amazon Smart Thermostat:

  1. Open the Alexa app .
  2. Open Devices and select Thermostat .
  3. Select your Amazon Smart Thermostat.
  4. Select Settings .
  5. Select Energy Saving Incentives and follow the guided instructions for completing pre-enrollment.

Note: If you don't complete pre-enrollment within 180 days of purchasing your thermostat, you must restart the enrollment process. Depending on the terms of your utility provider's program, you may lose rebates applied to your device at purchase.
