Set Up Alexa Emergency Assist

Set up Alexa Emergency Assist from the Alexa app or a compatible Echo device.

Before you set up Emergency Assist, make sure that:

  • Your Alexa app is up-to-date.
  • You have Alexa Communications turned on.

To set up Alexa Emergency Assist from the Alexa app:

  1. Open the Alexa app .
  2. Open More .
  3. Select Alexa Emergency Assist.
  4. Select the Settings icon, then select Your Information to review your profile. Make sure that you add an emergency address and phone number.
  5. Optional: Select Manage to add Critical Information like gate codes and medical conditions.
Note: The information in your Alexa Emergency Assist profile will be shared with Urgent Response agents and first responders to help you get the help you need.

Once you've reviewed your profile information, add Emergency Contacts and Smart Alerts to complete setup.
