How to Charge Your Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation)

Wake up your new Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation) to get started.

  1. Use the cable to plug in the charging stand to a power source.
  2. Place the Frames on the charging stand with the lenses facing up.
Tip: Don't be afraid to push down until snug.
  3. A pulsing white light displays while detecting your Smart Glasses.
  4. Once the device detects proper placement, the blinking light changes to a solid color that reflects your Smart Glasses battery status.
    • A solid orange light means that the frames are charging.
    • A solid green light means that the frames are 100% charged.
    • Blinking red means there's an error detecting your frames.
  5. When you place your Smart Glasses correctly, the blinking light shifts to a solid color, saying the battery status.
Note: Allow 2 ½ hours for a full charge.

If the LED light on your charger is off, blinking red, or blinking red and white, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Remove Frames from the charger for 20 seconds, and then reinsert them into the charger.
    • Open Frames temples and wait 15 seconds.
    • Close the temples and wait 10 more seconds.
    • Reinsert Frames into the charger.
  2. Check that the placement of the frames is correct:
    • The lenses should be facing up (not forward).
    • Fold the tops of the frame arms one over the other, ensuring they touch the back wall of the charger.
    • The nose bridge of the Frames should touch the front of the charger.
Note: If difficulty arises, it may be due to previous temple tips adjustment.
  3. Try to unplug and replug the power cable from the cradle and outlet.
  4. Try using a different power source, like an alternative USB port, power adapter, or outlet.
  5. If the charging stand or frames feel warm, allow them to cool down before attempting to charge again. Ensure that your device stays away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
