White Box on the Fire TV Screen

The white box on the Fire TV screen appears when text banner is on. Text banner is an accessibility feature that helps customers with visual impairments and a limited vision range.

If a rectangular white box appears on your screen, it's likely that the text banner feature is on.

To turn off the text banner feature:

  1. Go to Settings from your Fire TV menu.
  2. Select Accessibility .
  3. Select Text Banner to turn it off.
