Amazon Smart Soap Dispenser Isn't Working

Try these steps to fix, unclog, or troubleshoot your Amazon Smart Soap Dispenser.

  • Prime the dispenser after filling the device with soap. To prime, place your hand under the sensor for a moment, then remove it. Repeat multiple times until soap dispenses.
  • Only use liquid soap in your Amazon Smart Soap Dispenser. Soap dispensing won’t work properly with other types of soap, such as foaming soap or alcohol-based liquids like hand sanitizer.
  • Clear any soap that may be blocking the nozzle by wiping the sensor at the base of the nozzle.
  • Try a soft reset, by pressing power button for 12 seconds and then power on the device.
  • If your soap dispenser isn't used for a prolonged time, soap can accumulate and clog the nozzle. To troubleshoot, clean the nozzle area with water and remove any stuck soap.
  • Dispense several times until soap starts coming out normally.
