What Is Follow Up Mode?

Use Follow Up Mode to talk to Alexa without repeating the wake word.

When Follow Up Mode is turned on, you'll find it easier to continue having a conversation with Alexa without needing to repeat the wake word.

On compatible Echo Show devices, after starting a conversation, you can also interrupt Alexa without having to repeat the wake word when you are in frame of the camera and facing the screen. A visual indicator will appear when you can talk to Alexa without the wake word.
