Get More Storage for Videos and Photos

Upgrade your Amazon Photos storage plan when you need more space.

Amazon Photos offers monthly and annual storage tiers, in addition to 5 GB of free storage for all customers and unlimited photo storage for Amazon Prime members in select countries. To see current plan options and prices, go to Your Storage in a web browser.

Prime members can share their storage benefit with up to 5 family members at no extra cost using Amazon Family. For more information, see Sharing your Amazon Photos Storage Allowance with Amazon Family.

Upgrade in the mobile app (where available)

  1. Open the Amazon Photos app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Select Profile, then Storage.
  3. Choose a plan and confirm in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Upgrade on the web

  1. Sign in to your account at Amazon Photos.
  2. Go to Your Storage.
  3. Choose a storage plan.
  4. Confirm or enter your payment method when prompted.

When you upgrade, your new storage limit applies immediately. If you switch between paid plans, you receive a prorated refund on your old plan and are charged the full amount for the new one.
