Alexa Isn't Responding on Your Echo Frames (2nd Generation)

Alexa doesn't answer your voice commands.

To fix common issues with Alexa on your Echo Frames (2nd Generation):

  • Press the action button. This triggers Alexa.
  • Check that the device's microphones are on. To unmute your frames, double press the action button. The action button is the shorter button on the right arm of the frames.
  • Force close the Alexa app, then open it again.
  • Make sure that your smartphone is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data.
  • Make sure that your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) are connected to your phone. In the Alexa app, open Devices . Find your device. On the Device Settings page, check that your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) are Online.
  • Turn your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) off and on again. Press and hold the action button until the status light flashes red. Then, press the action button once until the status light flashes blue and you hear Alexa say, "Connected."
