Manage Your Backup Payment Methods

Backup payment methods help us avoid payment delays. You can manage your backup payment methods through Your Payments in Your Account.

To add or update a backup payment method, go to

If there's a problem with your payment, we'll automatically charge a backup card from Your Payments for eligible products and services to make sure we fulfill our delivery promises

To manage your backup payment methods:

  1. Choose enabled or disabled. Note that disabling backup payment methods may cause delays if your payment method fails.
  2. Review and update your payment methods. Uncheck any you don't want to use as backup payment methods.
  3. Select Save.

To change your payment method after your back up payment method is charged for that order:

  1. Go to Customer Service.
  2. Select the order where the backup payment method was used.
  3. Click on Change payment method.
  4. Select a different preferred payment method.
  5. Click on Confirm modification.

Note: The refund may take 7-10 business days to return to your payment method.
