Amazon Reload and eGift Card Processing Delays
For Amazon Reload purchases, we typically add funds to your Amazon Gift Card balance within 1 hour. Similarly, we typically deliver eGift Card Orders within 1 hour. In rare circumstances, delivery may be delayed to complete security checks that keep your Amazon account safe.
Amazon Reload Purchases
To check the status of your Amazon Reload purchase:
- Go to Your Orders.
- View orders placed.
- The order status is displayed on the Your Orders page or you can go to the View order details page. If the status is “Applied,” the funds have been added to your Amazon.com Gift Card Balance.
eGift Card Purchases
To check the status of your eGift Card purchase:
- Go to Your Orders.
- View orders placed.
- The order status is displayed on the Your Orders page or you can go to the View order details page.
- For email or text message eGift Cards, if the status is "sent," the gift card has been delivered to the recipient's email.
- For Shareable eGift Cards, if the status is "ready to share", the gift card shareable link is available to be sent to the recipient. Once the recipient has redeemed the card, the status will update to "redeemed."
Note:
- For Electronic Gift Card (eGC) Card purchases, if the status is “Received,” the gift card has been successfully added to your recipient’s account.
- If you send a digital gift card that doesn't arrive, you can resend it to the recipient or adjust the recipient details. Visit the Resend a Digital Gift Card page.
