Ask Alexa Button Isn't Working with Your Amazon Smart Oven or Microwave
The Ask Alexa Button isn't working or is unresponsive.
- Check the Wi-Fi icon on your microwave to confirm that it's online.
- Make sure that your Echo device and microwave are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Use the Alexa app to verify that the Ask Alexa button is turned on. Go to your device settings and select Ask Alexa.
- Place your Echo device within hearing distance from your microwave.
- If you have an Amazon Family, check that you're using the correct profile. Say, "Which profile is this?"
- Open and close the microwave door. Then, try your request again.
- Reset your device and then complete the setup again.
