Cancel an Order

You can cancel an order in the app or desktop, as long as it hasn't entered the shipping process, by visiting Your Orders.

To cancel an order on a mobile device:

  1. Go to Your Orders.
  2. Select the order that you want to cancel. If you don't see the item, select Show more items.
  3. Select Cancel Items.
  4. Select the check box next to the item that you want to cancel. If you want to cancel the entire order, select all of the items.
  5. Choose a reason for cancellation and select Request Cancellation.

Digital orders such as purchases on Amazon Kindle and Prime Video, can’t be cancelled in the Amazon Shopping app.

After submitting the cancellation, we'll send a confirmation message to the email address on your account. For a history of your cancelled orders, visit Your Orders under Cancelled Orders.
