Amazon Tap Isn't Pairing with Your Phone

If Amazon Tap is not pairing with your phone, check that the battery is charged.

Turn your device off and back on again. Press and hold the Power button until it dims (about 5 seconds). Then press the Power button again.
Check that Amazon Tap is charged. Low battery can cause issues with Bluetooth connectivity.
Move your phone closer to the Amazon Tap to reduce interference.
Use the Alexa app to clear your Bluetooth connections. Then, pair your phone to Amazon Tap again.
