Connect Your Phone to Amazon Tap

To stream audio from your phone, connect it to Amazon Tap.

Note: Alexa doesn't receive or read phone calls, text messages, and other notifications from your mobile device, or send audio from your Amazon Tap to Bluetooth speakers or headphones.
  1. Put your phone in Bluetooth pairing mode.
  2. Press the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth button on your Amazon Tap. Alexa lets you know when Amazon Tap is ready to pair.
  3. Open the Bluetooth settings menu on your phone, and select Amazon Tap.

Alexa tells you when the connection is successful.
