What Are Alexa Reactions and Augmented Reality (AR) Effects?
Express emotions during Alexa-to-Alexa video calls and Drop In with reactions and AR effects.
You can use short animated reactions like "love," "laugh," or "confetti" in Alexa calls and Drop In. Select the white smiley face in the bottom-left corner of your screen.
You can also turn on in-call AR effects, so you can appear in street art, a classic painting, and more. Touch your screen, and select the Effects button.
Note: Reactions and AR effects only work when both people on the call have turned on Enhanced Features. You can turn on Enhanced Features after trying to use AR effects or reactions in a call or Drop In. You can also turn on Enhanced Features from the Alexa app. Go to

Alexa Reactions and AR effects are only available in supported regions. You can use these features in Alexa-to-Alexa video calls and Drop In in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. These features won't work when making calls between a supported region and an unsupported region.
