Set Up VIP Filter Reply and Alexa Hands Free Messaging (SMS) on iOS (2nd Generation)

To ensure that VIP Filter Reply or Alexa Hands Free Messaging (SMS) works on your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) and Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation), follow these steps in your iOS settings.

  1. Pair your smart glasses to your iOS phone and the Alexa app.
  2. Go to Bluetooth Settings on your iOS phone.
  3. Find your smart glasses in Bluetooth Settings.
  4. Select the icon next to your device.
  5. Ensure that Show Notifications is on.
  6. Restart your smart glasses.

Note: To use these features, make sure you're on the latest version of iOS. Also, ensure that you have the latest software version for your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) and Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation) and the Alexa app.
