Set your account to automatically delete Alexa voice recordings and transcripts.
- Open the Alexa app
. - Open More
. - Select Alexa Privacy.
- Select Review Voice History, and use the drop-down to select a date range, or filter by device or profile.
- Select the chats that you want to delete or delete all for that date range, device, or profile.
Note: Voice recordings older than the selected time period are deleted automatically.
When you choose "Don't save," your voice recordings will be deleted, and future voice recordings will not be saved. To help you review your conversation history, chat transcripts and typed requests are kept until they've been inactive for 30 days. After that, those transcripts and typed requests will be automatically deleted. Any Voice IDs linked to this account will also be deleted.
Note: Voice recordings are used to improve the accuracy of your interactions with Alexa. Deleting voice recordings associated with your account may degrade your experience over time.
