Turn Phone Notifications On or Off for Echo Frames (2nd Generation) and Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation)
Use the Alexa app to turn off phone notifications on your Echo Frames (2nd Generation) and Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation). You can also press the action button twice to turn off the microphone and pause receiving phone notifications on Echo Frames (2nd Generation).
Note: To turn on phone notifications with Echo Frames (2nd Generation) and Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation), make sure you allow Alexa app notifications in your smartphone's settings. On iOS smartphones, turn on preview to receive messages. Go to settings on your iOS smartphone, and select
Notifications. Under
Show Previews, select
When Unlocked or
Always.
- Open the Alexa app
. - Select Devices
. - Select your Smart Glasses.
- Turn Phone Notifications on or off.
Tip: You can turn on Phone Notifications on VIP Filter to choose which notifications Alexa reads. With the VIP Filter, you can choose to turn phone notifications on or off for specific apps or contacts. Select
Manage Contacts & Apps to customize which phone notifications Alexa reads.
