Set Alexa to Take Action on Hunches

Set up automatic actions and Alexa can take proactive actions on your smart devices, such as turning them off or grouping them together.

Turn on automatic actions in the Alexa app:

  1. Select More .
  2. Select Settings .
  3. Scroll down and select Hunches.
  4. Select Set Up Hunches. Once complete, automatic actions for Hunches are turned on.

To activate or deactivate your individual automatic actions:

  1. Open the Alexa app .
  2. Select More .
  3. Select Settings .
  4. Scroll down and select Hunches.
  5. Select the Hunches Settings icon.
  6. Select the automatic actions that you want Alexa to act on, including Lights, Plugs & Switches, and Groups.

Note: Under Groups, automatic grouping is activated by default but can be turned off. Automatic grouping automatically adds devices to groups based on their typical grouping.
