Set up business order information fields

Administrators can choose the order information that requisitioners must enter at checkout. Administrators can also set up or audit their Business Order Information in bulk by following the steps in Business Order Information - Bulk Actions

To set up or edit the order information that requisitioners must enter at checkout, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Business settings and below Billing & shipping select Business order info. If you want to set up order information for an individual group, choose the group from the Business Settings page.
  2. Select the Enabled button beside each field that you want to use. You can add an additional custom field if necessary.
    Note: You can enable a maximum of 19 fields.
  3. Complete one of the following steps:
    • Leave the Open text field button selected to enable requisitioners to enter the text they want. You can also enter a default selection, if necessary.
    • Select the List of defined options button if you want the requisitioner to choose from the list of defined. To add options, select Add. You can enter a maximum of 500 options. Each option can be a maximum of 30 characters in length.
  4. Select the Required checkbox for each field that you want to make mandatory.
  5. Add a note to provide more guidance to your buyers while populating this information during checkout. You can enter up to 200 characters in the note.
  6. Select Save.

When a group and organization have order information fields set up, the group's settings override the organization's settings. Amazon is not responsible for the accuracy of the content that requisitioners enter at checkout.
