Turn Guest Casting On or Off

You can control who can play music on your Alexa built-in devices.

You can turn Guest Casting off or back on at any time using the Alexa app or your voice.

Using the Alexa app:

  1. Open the Alexa app .
  2. Select More .
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Under Alexa Preferences, select Music & Podcasts.
  5. Select Guest Casting.
  6. Toggle Guest Casting on or off.

Note: You can turn Guest Casting off by saying, “Alexa, turn Guest Casting off." You can turn Guest Casting back on at any time.
