Accessibility Features on Alexa or Amazon Kids Tablet

Setup accessibility features during initial device setup.

You can use accessibility features during initial setup:

  1. On the welcome screen, tap on Accessibility.
  2. Select Screen Reader (TalkBack), Magnification, Font Size, High Contrast, and Color Correction features based on your preference:
    • TalkBack: Reads on-screen text, labels, and actions aloud to help you navigate your tablet by touch and sound.
    • Magnification: Lets you zoom in on any part of the screen to make content easier to see.
    • Display size & text: Adjusts the Font size and Display size of the text to your preference.

Additionally, you can set up Color & motion, Audio descriotion features later from Settings > Accessibility:

  • Audio description: Hear a description of what's happening on screen in supported movies and shows.
  • Live Captions: Live Caption detects speech on your device and autimatically generates caption.
  • Color & motion: Adjusts display colors to help customers with color vision deficiencies see content more accurately.
