Storybuilder is a creative app that let kids and family members turn their ideas and imagination into illustrated stories - comics, stories, and picture books. With a little help from friendly on-screen prompts, kids describe the story they want, the characters, the places, the adventure, and watch their story come to life as a finished book they can read and keep.

Note: Storybuilder is part of the interactive experiences in Amazon Kids+ subscription catalog, available on supported Amazon Kids Tablets. You'llneed an active Amazon Kids+ subscription and a child profile. Storybuilder is rolling out to Amazon Kids+ on supported devices. Availability and features may vary.

How to create using the Storybuilder app?

  1. Ensure that you have an active Amazon Kids+ subscription.
  2. Open the Storybuilder app on a compatible Amazon Kids Tablets
  3. Tap to begin and follow the friendly prompts.
  4. Use your voice to simply describe what they want out loud.
  5. Pick an art style
  6. Generate the story. Storybuilder puts it all together into a complete, illustrated story.

When it's done, kids can enjoy their creation with a read-aloud feature, and find all their books anytime in My Stories.

Note:
  • Kids create their own original characters. To protect well-known characters, kids can't create stories using well known characters. Instead, they invent their own unique characters, sparking even more imagination.
  • Storybuilder includes content moderation that restricts what kids can create, so stories stay safe and age-appropriate. Prompts and generated content are screened to keep the experience kid-friendly.

From the Parent Dashboard , you can see and save your child's stories and manage whether stories can be shared.

Note: You can troubleshoot common issues and provide feedback on app features:
  • Within the app, visit More (bottom right), Hamburger symbol on the top left.
  • Go to Help and Feedback.
  • Choose the applicable options from the list (General Help Topics, Contact Us or Provide Feedback).
