Business Giving Recipient Terms

This Business Giving Recipient Policy (this "Policy") describes policies that apply to your access to and use of the Business Giving service. 

Your use of Business Giving is subject to the Amazon.com Privacy Notice, the Amazon Gift Card Terms, the Amazon Gift Card Restrictions and Prohibited Activities, the Amazon Business Accounts Terms and Conditions, the Amazon.com Conditions of Use, and the Amazon.com Kindle Terms. Capitalized terms not defined below have the meaning provided in the Amazon.com Conditions of Use.

Amazon may change Business Giving or this Policy at any time by posting the revised policy on the Amazon.com website. Your continued use of Business Giving following the effective date of any changes will constitute your acceptance of those changes.

  • Information shared with the entity who populates the Business Giving campaign ("Business Giving Administrator") includes the redemption amount of the purchase, and aggregated data on items purchased, format, and number of recipients that joined the Business Giving campaign. However, if Business Giving voucher is redeemed on an Amazon Business user account, the Business Giving administrator will also have individual reporting on each purchase made including but not limited to items purchased, shipping address and payment information. 
  • Business Giving is currently only available to United States customers. 
  • Business Giving Vouchers are limited time offers and will be revoked after the valid through date. 
  • Business Giving item returns are subject to our returns policies. If you return an item purchased with a Business Giving Voucher on or before the "valid through" date, we will credit your account with a Business Giving Voucher, which may be used for purchase of an eligible Business Giving item on or before the same "valid through" date. If you return an item after the "valid through" date set for the Business Giving Voucher, you will have a grace period to use your refunded voucher balance before it is revoked and refunded to Business Giving Administrator. 

 

Business Giving Administrator Terms

This Amazon Business Giving Administrator Policy (this "Policy") describes policies that apply to your access to and use of the Business Giving service. The examples described in this Policy are not exhaustive. 

Your use of Business Giving is subject to the Amazon Business Accounts Terms and Conditions, the Amazon.com Privacy Notice, the Amazon Corporate Gift Card Purchase & Distribution Terms, the Amazon.com Conditions of Use, and the Amazon.com Kindle Terms. Capitalized terms not defined below have the meaning provided in the Amazon Business Accounts Terms and Conditions

Amazon may change Business Giving or this Policy at any time by posting the revised policy on the Amazon.com website. Your continued use of Business Giving following the effective date of any changes will constitute your acceptance of those changes.

Restrictions and Limitation You may not charge others, directly or indirectly, to distribute content via Business Giving. You may not use Business Giving to violate the security or integrity of the Amazon store or any Kindle, Reading Application or Supported Device. Business Giving is currently only available to United States customers. Some items including but not limited to digital content, gift cards, and cash equivalents may not be available for purchase through Business Giving. Each Business Giving campaign is required to have at least one physical item that is redeemable by Business Giving recipients. You will not (and will require than any Client does not) claim any Business Giving vouchers to your (or any Client's) own account to procure goods or services from the Amazon Sites.

Distribution You will comply with the FinCEN Prepaid Access Rule for sales to consumers (i.e., not business-to-business sales), either: (x) by adopting policies and procedures reasonably adapted to prevent the sale or other distribution of more than $10,000 of prepaid access to any one Recipient during any one calendar day, or (y) by collecting, verifying, and maintaining Recipients identification information and complying with other suspicious activity monitoring, reporting, and record keeping requirements where necessary as required by Applicable Law. Business Giving Vouchers may be distributed under these terms, via approved Distribution Channels, for business purposes only. You must not enter these policies if you are a consumer. 

Business Giving Vouchers are Amazon.com Gift Cards and may only be purchased and distributed exclusively within the United States including its territories and possessions. You may only distribute gift cards without charge to your employees, clients or partners, as part of a gifting, loyalty, rewards, incentives or other similar programs. Amazon.com Gift Cards may not be used as an incentive in association with illegal, inappropriate, misleading, or offensive activity. Please refer to the Prohibited Use Case Guidelines to ensure that your program meets our requirements.

Returns and Exchanges Business Giving item returns are subject to our returns policies. If a user who receives an invitation to a Business Giving campaign ("Business Giving Recipient") returns a Business Giving item on or before the "valid through" date of the Business Giving voucher used to purchase the item, the Business Giving Recipient will receive a refund in the form of a Business Giving voucher. If a Business Giving Recipient returns a Business Giving item after the "valid through" date of the Business Giving voucher used to purchase the item, the Business Giving Recipient will have a grace period to use the refunded Business Giving voucher balance before it is revoked and the equivalent value credited back to the Business Giving Administrator's voucher balance. If a Business Giving voucher issued to a Business Giving Recipient is not used by the voucher's "valid through" date, the voucher will be revoked, and the equivalent value credited back to the Business Giving Administrator's voucher balance. The value of any unused or refunded Business Giving vouchers retained by the Business Giving Administrator does not expire.

Termination of Business Giving Account We may investigate any violation of these Business Giving Terms or misuse of Business Giving. Amazon may limit or revoke your access to Business Giving at any time and without notice, for example if you fail to comply with any of these Business Giving policies. Amazon's failure to enforce your compliance with these Business Giving policies will not constitute a waiver of any of its rights. If Amazon terminates your rights to access Business Giving, you must cease all use of Business Giving. Amazon reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Business Giving at any time. Amazon will not be liable to you for its exercise of this right.
