Tagging Loved Ones in Amazon Photos
You can set names and relationship details for people in the Amazon Photos mobile app.
To tag loved ones in Amazon Photos, make sure that the Tag specific people setting is switched on.
To switch on Tag specific people in Amazon Photos for iOS
- Open the Amazon Photos app.
- Select the profile icon in the top right of the screen.
- Select the settings cog icon in the top right of the screen.
- Select Image recognition.
- Switch on Tag specific people.
To switch on Tag specific people in Amazon Photos for Android
- Open the Amazon Photos app.
- Select the smile icon in the top left of the screen.
- Select the settings cog icon in the top right of the screen.
- Select Image recognition.
- Switch on Tag specific people.
To add names and relationship details for a person identified in your photos
- Open the Amazon Photos app.
- Select People near the bottom of the screen.
- Select the face of a person identified in your photos.
- Select the pencil icon shown to the right of the person’s main photo.
- Type the person’s name and select your relationship.
- Select Done to finish editing or Save & Edit Next to set name and relationship details for the next person identified in your photos.
To update names and relationship details for a person identified in your photos
- Open the Amazon Photos app.
- Select People near the bottom of the screen.
- Select the face of a person identified in your photos.
- Select the … icon and then Edit name.
- Update the person’s name and select your relationship.
- Select Done to finish editing or Save & Edit Next to set name and relationship details for the next person identified in your photos.
