People Grouping in Amazon Photos

You can set names and relationship details for people.

Make sure that the People grouping setting is switched on in Image recognition.

Note: People grouping may not be available in certain locations.

To add names and relationship details for a person identified in your photos

iOS/Android:

  1. Open the Amazon Photos app.
  2. Select People from Filters.
  3. Select the face of a person identified in your photos.
  4. Select the pencil icon shown to the right of the person’s main photo. Type the person’s name and select your relationship.
  5. Select Done to finish editing or Save & Edit Next to set name and relationship details for the next person identified in your photos.

Web:

  1. Select People from side navigation bar.
  2. Select the face of a person identified in your photos.
  3. Select the pencil icon shown to the right of the person’s main photo. Type the person’s name.
  4. Select Done to finish editing.
