Except as described below, Amazon Games follows the same privacy practices as described in the .

This Games Privacy Notice applies to the following services (the "Amazon Games Services"):

  • Amazon Games iD, including the Amazon Games iD website;
  • Any game we publish that directly links to this Games Privacy Notice;
  • Any of our websites that directly link to this Games Privacy Notice; and
  • Any community event or other offering we provide that directly links to this Games Privacy Notice.

What About Cookies and Other Identifiers?

To enable our systems to recognize your browser or device and to provide and improve Amazon Games Services, we use cookies and other identifiers. For more information please read our Games Cookies Notice.

What About Account Linking?

If you have linked a third-party account or an Amazon or Twitch account to your Amazon Games iD account, you can learn more about account linking here and manage those links by visiting the "Account Linking" section on the Amazon Games iD website. If you link a third-party account, we may receive information about you from the third party. We do not share your personal information with the third party except to receive an authenticated login signal. You may only link an Amazon account if you are over the age of 18 or a Twitch account if you are over the age of 13.

What About Advertising?

We provide ad companies with information that allows them to serve you with more useful and relevant Amazon Games ads and to measure their effectiveness. We never share your name or other information that directly identifies you when we do this. Instead, we use an advertising identifier like a cookie, a device identifier, or a code derived from applying irreversible cryptography to other information like an email address. For example, if you have already downloaded one of our games, we will share your advertising identifier and data about that event so that you will not be served an Amazon Games ad to download the game again. While we do not share your specific actions like in-game activity with ad companies, we may share an advertising identifier and an estimate of the value of the ads they show you on our behalf so they can serve you with more effective Amazon Games ads. Some ad companies also use this information to serve you relevant ads from other advertisers. You can learn more about how to opt-out of personalized advertising (such as cross-context behavioral advertising) by going to the Your Ads Privacy Choices for Amazon Games page. The opt-out choices you make for your Amazon Games iD account are separate from the opt-out choices you make for your Amazon account. Please see the “What About Advertising?” section of the Amazon Privacy Notice for advertising opt-out choices related to your Amazon account.

What Choices Do I Have?

The Amazon Games Services include settings that provide you with options as to how your personal information is being used. If you have any questions as to how we collect and use your personal information, you can contact us for assistance at games-privacy@amazon.com. The choices you make for your Amazon Games iD account are separate from the choices you make for your Amazon account. Please see the "What Choices Do I Have?" section of the Amazon Privacy Notice for choices related to your Amazon account.

  • Manage Your Child's Information: The Children and Teen's Privacy section below describes our practices for collecting and handling personal information of children and teen users. In addition to data we collect, your child may be able to share information publicly and with others depending on the products and services they use. If you are a parent or guardian and you have given us permission to collect personal information from your child, you can manage those permissions and learn more about managing the privacy and safety settings of your child's account by visiting the "Family" section on the Amazon Games iD website. Depending on your choices, certain features may be unavailable to your child. If you withdraw the permission you have provided for your child's Amazon Games iD account, they will no longer be able to play and may lose gameplay progression for certain games. In addition, your child may be accessing Amazon Games Services from a device or third-party gaming service. Please see the above section on Third-Party Settings for more information.

Children and Teen's Privacy

Some of the Amazon Games Services will provide a different experience based on what we know about a user's age and their country of residence. For example, we apply a higher level of default privacy settings to younger users. For parents or guardians, please see the "Manage Your Child's Information" Section above to see how you can manage the permissions and privacy settings for your child's account. We do not use data from children or teens to show them personalized ads.
