Fire TV Recast Not Recording
Recording issues can happen when there are internet connectivity issues, recording conflicts, or issues with your antenna connection.
Recordings can fail for a number of reasons:
- Loss of connectivity between Fire TV Recast and your home network.
- Visit Update the Wi-Fi Settings for Your Fire TV Recast for more information.
- Loss of power due to a power outage or an unplugged power cable.
- Issues with antenna connection.
- Connect your antenna securely to your Fire TV Recast.
- Transmitter interference affecting channel reception or quality in your area.
- Tuner is already in use for live playback.
- For more information, visit How Many Programs Can I Watch or Record at Once?.
- Recording conflicts. If you have several recordings scheduled at the same time, the lowest priority show doesn't get recorded. To manage your recording priority settings:
- Go to the My Stuff
or DVR from the Fire TV menu.
- Select DVR Manager.
- Select Recording Priority.
