Shopping with Alexa+

Alexa+ gives you more ways to find products and explore deals all through natural conversation.

When you have Alexa+, you can speak conversationally when you make a request. These request types can also be used as chats to shop on Alexa+ on your browser.

Search with Alexa+

Ask Alexa to search for products by name or category:

  • "Search for [item name]."
  • "Show me [item name] under [price]."
  • "Find [category of item]."

You can create instant shopping lists with Alexa+ on your browser. In a chat, you could say something like,

  • "Tell me basic supplies I need for an overnight camping trip, and add those to my Vacation list."

Explore Product Deals

In addition to common requests, you can now ask Alexa complex questions about a product's details:

  • "What is the warranty on [item]?"
  • "What are the reviews for [product]?"
  • "What is the rating for [product]?"
  • "Does that [food item] contain peanuts?"
  • "What should I consider when buying a [product]?"
    • For example, you can ask about TVs, furniture, and game consoles.

You can ask Alexa follow-up questions for search results. For example, you can say, "Shop for running shoes," and then ask, "How do they compare to [brand]?"

Create Deal Alerts

Explore personalized deal recommendations based on your previous shopping activity:

  • "What are my deals?"
  • "Do you have any deals on [product]?"
  • "Show me deals."
  • "What deals are on right now?"
  • "What are the customer ratings for [recommended deal]."

Place Orders or Reorder

Ask Alexa to place an order or customize your reorder:

  • "Place my order."
  • "Cancel my order."
  • "Buy [item] now."
  • "Check out my cart."

  • "Show me a [product]."
  • "Shop [product name]."
  • "Add or remove [item] from cart."

Manage Orders

Ask Alexa for order updates, details on your upcoming orders, and your order history:

  • "Where's my stuff?"
  • "When did I last order [product]?"
