Turn Adaptive Volume On or Off

Activate Adaptive Volume to adjust Alexa's volume automatically when background noise increases.

There are multiple ways that you can turn Adaptive Volume on or off.

To turn Adaptive Volume on or off with your voice, you can tell Alexa, "Turn on Adaptive Volume."

To turn Adaptive Volume on or off with the Alexa app:

1. Open the Alexa app .
2. Select More .
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Voice Responses.
5. Turn Adaptive Volume on or off.
