Voice Notes on Alexa Photo Frame
You can record a voice note on a photo that can be played when that photo shows on your Alexa Photo Frame.
Everyone on the frame can hear your voice notes, and anyone on the frame has permission to add a voice note to any photo, including one someone else added.
Record a voice note
- In the Amazon Photos app, select Devices () in the top right, then select your Alexa Photo Frame.
- Select See all photos, then open the collection containing the photo.
- Select the photo.
- On iOS: Scroll down to the Notes section.
- On Android: Select the three dots menu ... then select Voice notes.
- In the Notes section, choose to add a note.
- Record your note, then select Save note.
Play a voice note
If a voice note icon (
) is present on your Alexa Photo Frame, tap the icon to play a voice note. You can also ask Alexa to play the voice note.
Delete or remove a note
Note: To keep a copy of a note before deleting it, select
Download note first.
- In the Amazon Photos app, open the photo.
- On iOS: scroll down to the Notes section.
- On Android, select the three dots menu ... then select Voice notes.
- Select Delete note or Remove note, then confirm.
What note is available depends on whose photo the note is on:
- Delete note — available on your own photos. Moves the note to the Voice notes tab in Trash and holds it for 90 days. You can restore it from there.
- Remove note — available on someone else's photo. Permanent and cannot be undone.
