How to Place an Order

To place an order, add items to the cart and proceed to checkout. Learn how to order items on Amazon and track your orders.

Search for items

  1. Write your search words into the search box and enter.
  2. From your search results select any item to visit its product detail page.

Add items to the cart

  1. Select Add to cart to add an item to the cart.
  2. Repeat for any item you want to order.
  3. Sign into your Amazon account to save your cart.
    Note: If you don’t have an Amazon account, create one by selecting the person icon and then Create account.

Check out

  1. Select the Cart icon. Edit the cart as many times as you want, by changing quantities and adding and removing items.
  2. Review your order and select Proceed to Checkout.
  3. Select or add a delivery address.
    Note: If you need help with adding an address, visit Add and Manage Addresses.
  4. Select a payment method of your choice. Here you can add gift cards, promo codes, vouchers, reward points or your gift card balance.
    Note: If you need help with adding a payment method, visit Manage Payment Methods.
  5. Select a shipping option if applicable.
  6. Review your order and select Place your order.

Note that we might ask you for your passkey for high-risk payment transactions during checkout.

Buy Now

Buy Now is an express purchase option that lets you review and change details, such as payment method and delivery speed, before placing your order. Learn more at Buy Now Ordering.

Ensure that your order has been placed

  1. Select the person icon to go to your Account.
  2. Select Orders to access your Purchase history.
  3. Here you will find your recent orders including the order you just placed, including options to edit and track your order.
