Add Photos to a Shared Group in Amazon Photos for Mobile

Add photos to a shared photo group in Amazon Photos for iOS or Android.

Create your own group or, if you receive a link to share photos, upload photos to the group in Amazon Photos for web or mobile.

Only the owner of the group and invited members can add, remove, and comment on photos in the shared group. To manage access to your shared groups, visit Manage Access to Shared Groups in Amazon Photos.

Add individual photos

  1. Select a photo or multiple photos.
  2. Select the Share icon in the bottom-left of your screen.
  3. Select New Group or a group you previously created.
  4. Enter the contact details for the person that you’re sharing the collection with.
  5. Select Next.
  6. Press Send.

Add an album

  1. Select Albums from the filters.
  2. Choose an album.
  3. Select ... in the bottom-right of your screen.
  4. Select Share album.
  5. Select New Group or a group you previously created.
  6. Enter the contact details for the person that you’re sharing the collection with or send a link by message or email.
  7. Select Next and then Send.

Your contact will receive a notification that they’ve been invited to your shared group.

To display the group photos on your Echo Show or Fire TV, visit Display Photos on your Echo Show and Fire TV. Group photos cannot be displayed on devices when Amazon Kids Mode is enabled.
