Troubleshoot Frozen Screen on Alexa Tablet

Restart your device to fix a frozen or looping screen during startup.

If your Alexa Tablet or Amazon Kids Tablet won't turn on or is stuck on the startup screen, try following troubleshooting steps:

1. Charge your Alexa Tablet or Amazon Kids Tablet for at least 30 minutes.
2. Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds and release.
3. Wait for 10 seconds, and then press the power button again.
4. If the tablet is stuck on the logo for more than 5 minutes without changing, hold the power button for 20 seconds to restart it.
