Optimize your Wi-Fi
Fire TV devices with Wi-Fi 6E support 6-GHz band connections, offering faster speeds, increased bandwidth, and lower latency. To get the best performance from your Fire TV device, consider upgrading to Wi-Fi 6E or higher capable router. For larger homes, consider mesh routers for whole-home coverage.
Additionally, configure your router to use the same network name (SSID) for the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. This allows your Fire TV to automatically connect to the best-performing band based on signal strength.
