Unshare Your Photos and Videos

Stop sharing photos and videos that you've shared at any time.

iOS/Android

  1. Open the Amazon Photos app.
  2. Select the Sharing icon on the top-right of the screen.
  3. For iOS, select the group or individuals within the Sharing section, then select Photos/Videos.
  4. For Android, select the group within the groups section, or the conversation within the Alexa Sharing section.
  5. Press and hold the photo or video until a check mark is displayed. If you want to select more photos or videos, select each additional item.
  6. Select the three dots icon, and select Remove from group.

Web

  1. Select Sharing from the left navigation bar.
  2. Select the group or individuals within the Sharing section, then select Photos/Videos shared.
  3. Select Remove.
Note: When you remove access to a photo, the recipient can no longer view the photo on their Amazon Photos app, Echo device with a screen or Fire TV device. The photo is still viewable from the message thread in the Alexa app.
