Unshare Your Photos and Videos Using the Mobile App

Stop sharing photos and videos that you've shared in a group at any time.

  1. Open the Amazon Photos app.
  2. Select the Sharing icon on the top-right of the screen.
  3. For iOS, select the group or individual conversation within the Sharing section, then select Photos on the top-right of the screen. For Android, select the group within the groups section, or the conversation within the Alexa Sharing section.
  4. Press and hold the photo or video until a check mark is displayed. If you want to select more photos or videos, select each additional item.
  5. Select the three dots icon, and select Remove from group.
Note: When you remove access to a photo, the recipient can no longer view the photo on their Amazon Photos app, Echo device with a screen or Fire TV device. The photo is still viewable from the message thread in the Alexa app.
