Redeem a Kindle Book Gift

Did you receive a Kindle book gift email? Accept your gift from the email notification to begin reading on your supported Amazon device or download a Kindle reading app.

Note: If you do not live in the same country as the person who gave you the Kindle book gift, the book may not be available to you due to copyright restrictions. In these cases, you are given the option to request an exchange for an Amazon.com Gift Card on your account during the redemption process.
  1. Select Redeem your gift from your gift notification email.
  2. Select Redeem now and if prompted, log-in to your Amazon account.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select the supported Amazon device you want your gift delivered to.
