Use Timers with Alexa

Use your voice to create, manage, and cancel timers.

Note: Some voice commands are only available in select languages and marketplaces.

Say things like:

  • "Set a 5 minute timer."
  • "Set a sleep timer for [time]."
  • "Set a laundry timer for 1 hour."
  • "How much time is left?"
  • "[Pause/Resume} timer."
  • "[Add/Remove] 1 minute to my timer."
  • "Cancel timer."
  • On Echo devices with a screen: "Show me my timers."
Note: Sleep timers stop playback after a set time, allowing you to fall asleep while listening.
