Using Your Subscription

You can access Kindle Unlimited on any Kindle device, smartphone, computer, or tablet through the free Kindle app.

Borrow up to 20 titles at a time from a wide selection of genres, all with no due dates. Magazine issues count toward this 20-title limit. When you want something new, return your current selections and dive right into fresh titles.

Tips for finding Kindle Unlimited titles:

  • You can find Kindle Unlimited books in both the Kindle Store and your library by turning on the Kindle Unlimited filter in your Kindle app.
  • To find Kindle Unlimited audiobooks, look for the "with Narration" (headset) icon on the Kindle book pages, or browse the Kindle Unlimited store and filter by audiobooks.
  • You can find Kindle Unlimited magazines in the Kindle store by turning on the Kindle Unlimited filter and then searching for "magazines" or specific titles. Borrow magazines in the Kindle for Android app, Amazon shopping app for Android, or your mobile or desktop browser to download your chosen magazine. At this time, you can't borrow directly from the Amazon mobile shopping app for iOS or on your eReader. However, you can read downloaded magazines on the Kindle app on all your devices.

Note: Starting April 22, 2026, each magazine issue you borrow through Kindle Unlimited counts toward your 20-title borrow limit. We also no longer automatically deliver new issues.

Previously, you could borrow up to 50 magazine issues. By July 30, 2026, if you have more than 20 borrowed titles, we will automatically return the excess.
