Turn On Auto Volume Control (AVC) for Alexa Smart Glasses

Auto Volume automatically adjusts the volume to your surroundings when Alexa or media plays on Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation) and Echo Frames (2nd Generation).

To turn on Auto Volume Control (AVC):

  1. Open the Alexa app .
  2. Select Devices .
  3. Select Echo Frames.
  4. Turn on Auto Volume.
  5. Select your preferred listening volume profile.

If you adjust the volume manually, AVC maintains that level but dynamically change it if ambient noise changes. During phone calls, AVC adjusts the volume at the start but doesn't change it further during the call based on noise conditions.

Note: While audio plays, you can use the volume buttons to adjust the listening profile level. Auto Volume then dynamically adjusts the volume based on your surroundings and the new profile level that you set. However, on Echo Frames (3rd Generation), adjusting volume buttons doesn't change the selected listening profile itself.
