Cleaning Echo Frames (2nd Generation) and Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation)

Instructions on how to clean Echo Frames.

Important: Echo Frames (2nd Generation) and Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation) aren’t waterproof and shouldn’t be rinsed under running water or submerged in an ultrasonic cleaner.

Cleaning guidance:

  • Clean your smart glasses with a soft, dry cloth.
  • To clean lenses, use an alcohol-free lens cleaner and a soft cloth.
  • To remove ink from lenses, use up to 70% Isopropyl Alcohol.

Note: Do not spray lens cleaner directly onto lenses that are mounted into Echo Frames (2nd Generation) or Smart Glasses with Alexa (3rd Generation). Instead, spray the lens cleaner onto a soft cloth and use the cloth to clean the lenses.

Don’t use:

  • Water
  • Chemicals
  • Abrasive materials
  • Ultrasonic cleaners

Alcohol, acetone, and other solvents may damage the frame's finish and electronics.

If oils or debris get trapped between the lenses and frame, remove the lenses and clean them separately. Wipe the eye wire or groove of the frame with a damp cloth before reinserting the lenses.
