Scan for TV Channels for Fire TV Recast

In the Fire TV Recast & Blaster app, select Settings. Select, Fire TV Recast, and then Channel Management. Then, choose Channel Scan.

Note: Your location, your antenna connection, and its placement determine which stations you get with Fire TV Recast.

To scan for channels on a Fire TV device:

  1. Go to Settings from the Fire TV menu.
  2. Select Live TV , and then select Sync Sources.
  3. Select Fire TV Recast.
  4. Select Channel Scan.
Longer range antennas (such as a 50-mile range antenna) may help you access additional channels from broadcast towers that are further away. Once you have placed your antenna in a different position, scan for channels again.
