Redeem Promotional Codes and Courtesy Credits
Promotional codes can only be redeemed at the time you place an order.
Promotional Codes
To redeem a promotional code:
- Follow the deal instructions or go to the Terms and Conditions of the promotion.
- Add an eligible item to the shopping cart.
- If necessary enter the promotion code in the Gift Cards and Promotional Codes section on the Select a payment method page or on the Place Your Order page of the order form. Enter the code exactly as specified. Don't add spaces before, inside of, or after the promotion code. Select Apply.
- Proceed to check out. Verify that the promotion code was applied successfully by viewing the price on the final checkout page before placing your order. If, for some reason, you don't place an order at that time, the promotion remains on your account until it's used or expires.

Promotional Certificates and Courtesy Credits
To redeem a Courtesy Credit:
- Add an item that is shipped and sold by Amazon.com to your Cart.
- Select Proceed to Checkout. Your available Courtesy Credit will be displayed in your order total.

Promotional Certificate or Courtesy Credits issued by Customer Service will be added to your account automatically and appear on the Order Summary page for you complete your order.
Note:
- Promotional codes or courtesy credits are for one-time use. If you use a promotional code or a courtesy credit for a purchase on Amazon.com and the order is returned for a refund, the promotional code or courtesy credit won't be available for re-use.
- If you use a promotional code or a courtesy credit for a purchase on Amazon.com and the order is canceled (by us or by you), the promotional code or courtesy credits returns to you to be applied to your next order.
- Unless otherwise stated, promotion codes may not be applied toward the purchase of gift cards, sales tax, Prime membership fees, gift wrap charges, or additional shipping costs.
- Your promotional claim code amount won't appear in the View Gift Card Balance section of Your Account. Instead, the amount is automatically deducted at checkout when you place an order for eligible items (sold and dispatched directly by Amazon.com).
- You can't use the Buy Now shopping method when redeeming a promotional claim code.
- If the total cost of the items you're purchasing exceeds the amount of the promotion, you'll be prompted on the order form to provide another payment method for the balance.
